November 5th was L's deathday. People are buried in 7 days after death. REST IN PEACE, L-san. Hope you like the work inspite the topic. I prepared this idea in summer and finally got the result. I' ve put a lot of time drawing details: each rose is properly drawn and nearby 90 layers are used there. Permission:       Comments Holy shit, that's awesome. Me likey the roses!!

The details are amazing, but I think what I especially like is the mood of this. Light looks so somber though it's unlikely that's how he feels. And L looks very peaceful, especially surrounded by those roses.
I actually just got done writing L's wake for a story of mine, so your timing is awesome. -- That thing looked like the Manson Family Christmas Special.  OMG this is cool and yet sad T_T

Critiques
I love the way you did the blue roses. It must have taken patience to draw so many of them and I love the soft colouring you used.
Anatomy wise- this is perfect. I love the excessive detail in L's clothing. However there is something about the way you coloured Light that looks off. It would have perhaps been more effective if you played around with lighting and shadows to display Light's grief.
The blue ribbon with the "Rest in Peace" is a good, effective way to separate the two parts of the picture. It's simple and very effective.
The background is also nice, the curtains perhaps should have been darker than the wall or visa verse, and again different lighting techniques could have been explored.
I love how you made everything behind Light blurred out, this makes the viewer center their attention on Light and L.
Overall this piece is stunningly beautiful. The "It's all over for you L" and the "Rest in Peace" contradict each other which adds mystery and emotion to the piece.
